One of the great things about Octopuses is that they can be any color so you can't go wrong! You can knit these mittens in any two contrasting colors in the yarn of your choice. I had fun knitting these in contrasting yarns that slowly changed color. The mittens pictured were knit using sock / fingering weight and US size 1 / 2mm needles for a women's large / men's medium size but you could easily use smaller needles to make a women's small / teen-size mitten.
